EAT. I love to eat. I love to cook. I love to eat and cook good healthy food. If I don’t eat balanced meals throughout the day, I become cranky. PLAY. I love to play hard. I love the adventure of exercise & playing until I can’t play any more. SLEEP. I love my sleep. I will choose to go sleep at night over almost anything. If I don’t get good sleep at night, I am not a happy camper the next day. Good sleep at night for me = a great day. EAT PLAY and SLEEP is exactly what a baby needs too.

I am a mother of 3 children, 2 girls and a boy. My first two children are 20 months apart and my second two are 16 months apart. My husband and I live in Santa Barbara, California. I have my Masters in Kinesiology and Physical Education and my BS in Kinesiology. My background is in Personal Training for the last 13 years, so coaching and training come easy to me.

I went back to work a month after my first child was born, so I wanted a quick solution to getting a full night sleep once again. I asked around and a few of my best friends coached me through it. By the 8th week, my precious baby was sleeping through the night and by the10th week; she was sleeping from 7pm-7am. I started to coach my other mommy friends with the same advice, and all their babies did exactly what mine did. These were not lucky babies or textbook babies, they were babies trained by their mommy’s and daddy’s (with my help) to learn to sleep well, with the same philosophy and coaching that I will share with you.

All of my children have different temperaments, personalities and are unique in each of their own ways.  All followed the same training and reached the same goals at the same age, although their training was conformed to each of their unique needs and temperaments. Each child is unique in their own way, and I will make sure that your child’s specific routine will fit your family’s needs.

After helping about 30 of my friends through this same journey, I started EAT PLAY SLEEP Baby Sleep Training for new moms, moms with infants, moms with toddlers, moms with multiple children, and new transition and discipline issues.

During my 13 years of personal training, most of my clients needed a personal trainer to meet with, keep them accountable and assist them with a plan to reach their goals. They were not motivated enough on their own, to be consistent, maintain a workout schedule, stick to a nutrition plan and reach their goals without me. Sleep training a baby is very similar. Some parents have it in them to be disciplined and consistent on their own, however, when we are sleep deprived and exhausted, sometimes all of that goes out the window and we just do what we need to do to get through each day. Think of me as your Personal (Baby Sleep) Trainer. I will motivate you, encourage you, keep you consistent, help you maintain a schedule for your baby and do what best fits the needs of your family, and reach your goals for your baby to sleep well.

I am here to help you through this journey. It may not be easy at times, you may want to give up, but with my help and encouragement, together we will succeed in having a happy, sleeping baby.
